FCP Euro is seeking a skilled and driven Director of Search to join our team. As the Director of Search, you will oversee both Paid and Organic Search initiatives with direct P&L accountability to achieving search-attributed CAC, New Customer, Revenue & Contribution Profit targets. Leading a team of subject matter experts, you will continuously mature FCP Euro's ability to reach & convert our target audience via search. Key responsibilities include traffic planning and investment allocation, capability development across Paid & Organic search, and search analytics & data infrastructure development. In addition to direct management of FCP Euro in-house and agency SME talent, this role is highly cross-functional, and you will work closely with leaders across technology, content, and product teams to achieve desired outcomes. This role will be expected to provide transparent and detailed insight into search performance, facilitating strategic planning for quarterly and annual search targets, and guiding overall strategies to achieve our objectives. The perfect candidate has significant experience generating results in a high-growth eCommerce environment and will have experience managing high traffic / high SKU count sites. They will have deep technical experience with SEO, Paid Search, and Marketing Data & Analytics. They will be equally excited to lead to a clear vision within a fast-paced, high-expectation environment as they will be to roll up their sleeves to drive day-by-day results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accomplish search-attributed CAC, New Customer, Revenue, and Contribution Profit targets
  • Increase FCP Euro Share of Search in target markets with increasing efficiency
  • Manage market-targeted keyword & penetration strategy across SEM and SEO
  • Drive high-quality performance output of search tactics across paid and organic marketing tactics. Ensure consistent tracking of the paid search budget.
  • Review and analyze data pertaining to driving search traffic and customer search trends.
  • Develop search penetration & keyword data infrastructure for scaled optimization
  • Deliver monthly reports on performance across search channels, execution against strategy, and upcoming targets
  • Build, manage, develop, and lead a team while foster a culture of innovation, collaboration and professional growth. Manage Paid, Organic, and related agency SMEs. Recruit & hire top search talent.
  • Drive cross functional relationships to align marketing efforts with company goals
  • Cast manage, and integrate vision for multi-year search development strategy with tighter stakeholder alignment
  • Provide business with strategic insight into shifting consumer search landscape including risks, opportunities, and competitive landscape

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Data Science, or related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in leadership-level search role roles within eCommerce sector
  • Proven track record of accomplishing high levels of search revenue, traffic, new customers or similar performance
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Experience building high-performance search teams
  • High-level of technical marketing expertise, not limited to but including marketing analytics, data infrastructure, technical SEO, Paid SEM
  • Experience using SQL, Python, or similar languages
  • Experience within automotive, or other highly technical retail industries, is highly desirable

Compensation 

This is an exempt salaried role with a base salary of $125,000 - $155,000 depending on experience, with a total compensation opportunity of $140,000 to $175,000 annually.
